What Robocurve does

Robocurve runs reproducible benchmarks of robotics foundation models, vision-language-action models and coding agents on real robot hardware, and reports what they can do, instead of relying on the demo videos labs publish. Its open-source framework, Inspect Robots, runs any model on any robot and benchmark with full trace logs and integrates with ROS and Isaac Lab. Robocurve is a Public Benefit Corporation in San Francisco, founded by Jay Chooi, and it went through Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch.

The secret behind Robocurve

Models that look strong in simulation can fall apart on real hardware, and no lab has a reason to publish its own failures. Keeping physical test setups running is expensive, which is why nobody neutral has done it, and why whoever does it well becomes the reference point.

Why NZVC invested in Robocurve

We backed Robocurve because robotics has no trusted scoreboard, and every lab, buyer and investor needs one to know where the frontier sits. Independent evaluation became core infrastructure for language models, and Robocurve is building the same thing for robots, in the open.
