Bovonic raised investor funding in the month QuadSense launched
Bovonic closed an investor round in June 2024, the month QuadSense launched at Fieldays. The system reads milk conductivity inside the milking cup liners to catch clinical and subclinical mastitis early, which cuts antibiotic use and the labor spent checking cows by hand.
We backed Bovonic because mastitis is one of the costliest problems in dairy farming, and QuadSense catches it earlier and more cheaply than the manual routines farmers rely on today. Liam Kampshof built hardware that farmers actually adopt, with early installation numbers and measured returns on New Zealand farms behind it.
