Easy Crypto merged with the Australian exchange Swyftx
New Zealand's largest crypto exchange agreed to merge with Brisbane-based Swyftx, creating one of Australasia's largest platforms by trading volume. The combination gave customers a larger platform and delivered an exit for NZVC I.
We backed Easy Crypto because Alan and Janine Grainger built the most trusted crypto on-ramp in New Zealand and grew it into the market leader across Australasia. That regional leadership is what made the company a natural acquisition for Swyftx, and the merger delivered an outcome for the company and its backers while giving customers a larger combined platform.
