Simfuni raised NZ$2.8 million in a Series A, days after launching its premium payment platform in New Zealand. The software runs billing, payments, reconciliation and arrears for insurers, with a portal where policyholders pay and renew across cards, direct debit and digital wallets.
We backed Simfuni because premium collection and reconciliation still run on aging, manual systems, and the global market for software that fixes it is large. Ready-to-deploy modules mean an insurer can adopt it without replacing core systems, which shortens the path to revenue. The founders pair real insurance domain knowledge with modern product engineering.
