What VXT does

VXT

Founded in Christchurch, New Zealand, it helps professional services firms capture billable time and cut the admin around every client call. Firms across New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom use it.

The secret

A transcript is worth very little on its own. The value appears when the call lands in the practice management system as a filed note and recorded billable time, which is why a law firm pays for it and why the original voicemail product had no defensible wedge.

Why NZVC invested in VXT

VXT in pictures

NZVC invested in VXT from NZVC Fund I. We file the company under AI and B2B SaaS on the portfolio wall.

We backed VXT because phone calls remain central to legal and recruitment work, yet the systems around them are dated and disconnected from where the real client records live. By integrating directly with the practice management and ATS tools these firms already run, VXT removes manual work and recovers billable time that would otherwise leak away. The team's speed, and their early success winning customers abroad from a New Zealand base, is exactly what we want to see.

“If you're not embarrassed by your first product, you've launched too late.”Luke Campbell
  • Why 5,000+ hours in World of Warcraft shaped his leadership.
  • The pivot that turned routine legal tasks into billable time.
  • Automating 50% of lawyers' paperwork with voice tech.
